Jonas Salk on Intuition
“It is always with excitement that I wake up in the morning wondering what my intuition will toss up to me, like gifts from the sea. I work with it and rely on it. It’s my partner.”
(Thanks, Christine, for sharing this with me!)
As I become better and better at listening to my intuition it’s amazing.  I think there’s a lot we chalk up to coincidence that is actually a result of us listening to our intuition without even being aware that we are doing so.  The other morning I needed to get to class on time (8am on a snowy saturday!)  When I pulled out our alley onto the main road I had a quick vision of taking a route to school that I never take.  I thought, that might be my intuition talking so I’m just going to trust and listen.  As I was driving down Hiawatha I saw a big accident on 28th St with police cars and ambulances.  I would have been stuck at that intersection and considering that I was 2 minutes late and the last person to class, my normal route definitely would have made me excessively late.  So why did I get that vision to take a different way?  Don’t know but I was glad I listened.
I like this little story. Have you taken strengthsfinder? I know that some people end up with “Connectedness” as one of their top talent themes, and this has to do with this type of belief or assurance about intuition/connection/meaning and guidance. Interesting to try to focus on this and observe what pops up…
Keep listening to that voice/vision.
