no bedsores for ayrie
Ayrie has been so lethargic and low energy the last few days that I was worried he was going to be a 3-year-old with bed sores! But his energy is back. I knew this when I walked in the room to find that the nurse was having a hard time getting him to sit still for his blood pressure because he was busy pressing every single button on the bed.

Emily Murphy is so happy to have spent the day with Ayrie. Glad to see him working up a big appetite, playing, laughing, cracking jokes, getting annoyed with Shiya and generally letting his stubborn 3 yr old independent streak show through. We don’t know where the road ahead will lead us, but Nora’s working hard on getting 2nd, 3rd and 4th opinions. Keep your positive thoughts headed Ayrie’s way.
I didn’t mention that one of the things that made me think Ayrie was back to himself…
He and Shiya both missed their naps and were feeling ornery. There was a little fight and I had to give Ayrie a time out. It ended up with a 1 armed hug between brothers and a super sweet kiss on the cheek from Shiya to Ayrie and a whole bunch of giggles.
